Our clinic consists of a mixed hospital-based and office practice in Neurology. This covers General Neurology together with a specialised focus on Parkinson’s disease and other Movement disorders (including Botox injections) as well as Neurodegenerative disorders, which include the dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease. Clinical consultations are by referral from a primary care physician, and follow-up care may be provided, depending on the condition being treated. Dr. Mendis is an Assistant Professor, University of Ottawa and Queen's University (Department of Medicine) Dr. Mendis is a Certified Specialist in both Neurology and Psychiatry (Royal College of Physicians of Canada, Corporation of Physicians of Quebec and the American Boards of Psychiatry and Neurology).
